Living healthy

Living a healthier life might seem like a tall order . The nutrition, the exercise , but having some friendly advice at your disposal whenever and wherever you need it makes it easier and more fun

Health is the physical, mental and social well being of a person , it refers not only to the absence of disease but the ability to also recover and bounce back from illness.

Below are some tips that can help in achieving a healthy body

1 All humans need good food for growth and maintenance of a healthy body which is a necessity and very important
Here are some tips to follow
• Eat at least two healthy meals a day (breakfast, and dinner); it is important to remember that dinner does not have to be the largest meal.
• food consumption should consist of healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and low-fat milk and sugar products.
• Control portion sizes; eat the smallest portion that can satisfy hunger and then stop eating.

Eating healthy which is basing your meals on high fiber starchy carbohydrates, eating lots of fruits and vegetables, cutting down saturated fats and sugar ,eat less salts and staying hydrated at all time

Intake lots of vegetables .. vegetables protects you from heart diseases ,high blood pressure , cancer and diabetes

Fish is healthier, gives you protein and vitamin D
Breakfast with vegetables , super healthy for the body !!
Staying hydrated causes the body organs to function properly and also increases sleep qualities , cognition and mood

2 Exercising benefits every part of the body, including the mind. Exercising causes the body to make chemicals that can help a person feel and look good. Exercise can help people sleep better. It can also help some people who have mild depression and low self-esteem exercise can give people a real sense of accomplishment and pride at having achieved a certain goal — like beating an old time in the 100-meter dash, Exercise can help you look better ,People who exercise burn more calories and look more toned than those who don’t. In fact, exercise can help keep your body at a healthy weight , Exercise helps people lose weight and lower the risk of

3 Do not smoke and take in alcoholic beverages to prevent lung cancers and damage of other body systems

When you smoke, the poisons from the tar in your cigarettes enter your blood. These poisons in your blood then:
Make your blood thicker, and increase chances of clot formation
Increase your blood pressure and heart rate, making your heart work harder than normal

Heart
Smoking damages your heart and your blood circulation, increasing the risk of conditions such as coronary heart disease, heart attack, stroke, peripheral vascular disease (damaged blood vessels) and cerebrovascular disease (damaged arteries that supply blood to your brain).
Carbon monoxide from the smoke and nicotine both put a strain on the heart by making it work faster.
Smokers have an increased chance of getting stomach cancer or ulcers. Smoking can weaken the muscle that controls the lower end of your gullet (oesophagus) and allow acid from the stomach to travel in the wrong direction back up your gullet, a process known as reflux.
Smoking is a significant risk factor for developing kidney cancer, and the more you smoke the greater the risk. For example, research has shown that if you regularly smoke 10 cigarettes a day, you are one and a half times more likely to develop kidney cancer compared with a non-smoker. This is increased to twice as likely if you smoke 20 or more cigarettes a day.
Skin
Smoking reduces the amount of oxygen that gets to your skin. This means that if you smoke, your skin ages more quickly and looks grey and dull. The toxins in your body also cause cellulite.
Smoking prematurely ages your skin by between 10 and 20 years, and makes it three times more likely you’ll get facial wrinkling, particularly around the eyes and mouth.

Brain
If you smoke, you are more likely to have a stroke than someone who doesn’t smoke.
In fact, smoking increases your risk of having a stroke by at least 50%, which can cause brain damage and death. And, by smoking, you double your risk of dying from a stroke.

4 Get enough rest …Sleep may seem like a waste of time. You could instead be answering e-mail, doing the dishes, repairing the deck or decking the halls. But research shows that you’re more likely to succeed at your tasks—and enjoy greater well-being—if you get some serious shuteye.
Of course, it’s not easy to sleep when you’re feeling overwhelmed. In fact, nearly two-thirds of Americans say they lose sleep because of stress. That’s especially unfortunate because sleep
combats some of the fallout of stress, and poor sleep has been linked to significant problems, including:
• greater risk of depression and anxiety
• increased risk of heart disease and cancer
• impaired memory

TIPS IN GETTING A FLAT TUMMY

We all want to have that flawless, fit and healthy body but sometimes losing those extra kilos and melting fat is not an easy job at all. This sometimes makes us eat all that we crave for and later tell ourselves it’s just today would work on my body later. On today’s blog, here are some few tips and ways to shrink your stomach and help you lose your ballooning belly fat fast.

TIP 1.

In order to shrink your stomach to have that flawless tummy, you need to rely on taking high-protein breakfast, just don’t be that typical Ghanaian who skips breakfast and takes both the breakfast and dinner in the evening .

Research tells us that people who eat a diet which contains a lot of protein tends to have less belly fat , so starting your day with high protein breakfast will help you in losing some fat and one should always try to include protein in every meal like fish, chicken, eggs , dairy and beans.  Ignore all those cliches that protein makes you gain weight.

Tip 2

Warm water and lemon :

Did you know drinking warm water with squeezed lemon in it could help prevent inflammation? Drinking this 3 times daily could help shrink your tummy

Tip 3

Doing aerobic exercise help making one have flat tummy , not to bore you , you can throw your arms, legs, or just shake your body to strengthen your midsection in reducing your waistline . I will recommend doing 15- 30 minutes of aerobic exercise weekly.

Tip 4

The headache of you and I is our carbohydrate intake.please I’m really begging let’s limit our carbohydrate and take in the right proportions to help improve your metabolic health and reduce the fat in your tummy and waistline by simply replacing with unprocessed whole food carb. People who do not take in a lot of carbo is less likely to have excess abdominal fat than those who takes a lot . Guess you don’t want to be a victim right ?

Tip 5

Final tip , visiting the gym. This may scare you but relax, through determination and a focused mind you could get that stunning body you’ve been dreaming about. Make this a reality by exercising regularly at least twice a week.
